Weekly Homework Calendar
Please visit the public library!
Homework
Reading: Students should read at least 20 minutes every night!
Sight Words: Please review this month's sight word list with your child.
They will test on these words the last week of the month. (list below)
Phonics: Students will have a phonics homework sheet to complete Monday-
Thursday. Please make sure you review the words at the bottom of the page
with your child.
Math: Students will have a math homework sheet to complete Monday-Thursday.
Spelling: Monday-write words three times each, Tuesday-write a sentence with each word,
Wednesday-put spelling words in ABC order, Thursday-practice spelling test;
write missed words five times each (list below).

Monday-Friday
7:50-8:20 Journal, Morning Work, DIRT, AR, INTERVENTION, etc.
8:20-8:30 Attendance and lunch count.
8:30-9:00 Schoolwide INTERVENTION.
9:00-9:50 Phonics.
9:50-10:40 Specials (red/character ed, orange/computer, yellow/pe,green/music,blue/art,purple/pe)
10:40-11:30 Math
11:30-12:00 Lunch
12:00-12:10 Restroom Break
12:10-12:50 Group
12:50-1:20 Science, SS, Health (We will begin a our Economic Understanding unit after testing)
1:20-1:50 Reading/LA
1:50-2:10 Daily Review
2:10-2:40 Recess
2:40-3:00 DIRT
3:00-3:05 Load Buses
Discipline Plan
Rules:
1. Listen carefully.
2. Follow directions.
3. Work quietly. Do not disturb others who are working.
4. Respect others. Be kind with your words and actions.
5. Work and play safely.
Consequences:
1. Verbal warning.
2. Pull a yellow card--miss 5 minutes of playtime.
3. Pull a blue card--miss 10 minutes of playtime.
4. Pull a green card--miss 15 minutes of playtime.
5. Pull a red card--miss all of playtime.
